Gina Hopkins uses a infusion of found, up-cycled, and new materials, metamorphosing ideas into beautiful sacred pieces. All her garments and items are treasured and should be a reminder of our earth and ourselves. Being conscious of the environment around us and understanding of our impact on the world we walk.
Canadian born designer, Gina won the Most Creative Showing Award for her graduate line at The University of the Fraser Valley in 2009. For the past 7 years Gina has been traveling with her collective "Mohnstr & Queen" creating interactive boutiques and art installations at various festivals throughout British Columbia. She also works with The Ocean Legacy Foundation doing remote marine debris expeditions to small islands and remote communities along B.C coastlines. As of 2018 Gina stepped into the Film community to continue her path of creation, to work with master artisans and designers to further develop technique and skill.
